If you think this is a very small island and you are better off in somewhere like Disneyland…think again!

Here are some things our Kids In Greece Nannies would love to do with your children …

Meet Petros the famous Pelican and his friends around the harbour, he loves crowds! Watch the ferries, high speed boats and catamarans while feeding the birds.

About Mykonos

Mykonos is among the most popular islands of Greece, located near the centre of the Cyclades complex. It is particularly famous for it's cosmopolitan atmosphere, exciting nightlife, picturesque architecture and magnificent beaches.

It's an island perfect for people of all ages, with many things to do - you can walk along the narrow streets of Chora, see the sunset from Little Venice, stay in luxurious hotels and swim from the exotic beaches.

Super Paradise, Paradise and Platis Gialos are fabulous places to swim and spend a day under the hot sun. In the evenings, head to Mykonos Town and enjoy a night out in the many bars and clubs.

There are many good hotels, studios, apartments, villas and even honeymoon suites to choose from.

Getting There
Mykonos airport is very close to Mykonos Town and has domestic flights from Athens/Thessaloniki. In summer, there are also charter flights from many European airports. Ferries services are daily to/from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina, in Athens. Mykonos is also linked by ferry to many other Cyclades islands and also to few a islands of Dodecanese and Eastern Aegean.

This is typically Mediterranean, with mild winters and hot, dry summers. From April to August, weather is always bright and sunny. It has a very low rainfall and throughout the summer months there are strong north winds - "meltemia" . The winter in Mykonos is relatively mild in contrast to other areas of Greece.
